What is the Festival of Running?
A Sunday of family entertainment based around three races/ runs around some fantastic parkland trails (“hidden” on the doorstep of Northwich Town Centre).
A 10k and 5k trail race and 2k family fun run, with medals and chip timing.
This year, proceeds of our runs shall be going to the local charity The Joshua Tree, supporting families across the North West living with the life-changing experience of childhood cancer. Read more here: www.thejoshuatree.org.uk.

Location:
The race shall start at Northwich’s Carey Park.
Both routes shall start in Carey Park, and continue up around the back of Marbury, back to the start.

Fun Run
There will be a 2k Fun Run aimed at all ages and abilities. For anyone under 16, accompanying parents and grandparents are welcome and encouraged.
Routes

Check out the 10k Route
The 10k leads you around Northwich woodlands on pretty trail paths. The route will pass through Dairy House Meadows and into Marshall’s Wood and Anderton before crossing the Trent and Mersey Canal to take in the peaceful countryside setting of Marbury Park. From here you will re-join Marbury Lane to the finish.
